Covers all manufacturing defects for loupes and light sources for up to 2 years.
No labour charge for customer-requested product customisations (e.g., declination angle change, magnification upgrade/downgrade) for up to 45 days from the invoice date.
Only a 10% restocking fee for change of mind refunds/returns within 30 days from the invoice date.
1-year manufacturing and material warranty on Li-Ion batteries (Butterfly series).
2-year manufacturing and material warranty on Li-Ion batteries (Orchid series).

ByronCare Basic – $95 per annum.
Duration – Up to 5 years, starting from original purchase invoice date.
Coverage terms and conditions:

Covers all manufacturing defects for loupes and light sources for up to 5 years.
Free loaner loupes and/or lights offered if repairs are required (subject to stock, IPD match, and without prescription).
No labour charges for upgrades/changes to loupes for up to 60 days from the invoice date. Exclusions from extended cover: Li-Ion batteries, accidental damage.
15% discount on restocking fees for 180 days (from the date of invoice) – in the event of a change of mind, including refunds/returns for loupes and lights.

Covers all accidental damage for loupes and light source for up to 3 years (excluding Li-Ion batteries).
Free loaner loupes and/or lights offered if repairs are required (subject to stock, IPD match, and without prescription).
No labour charges for upgrades/changes to loupes for up to 75 days from the invoice date.
1-year manufacturing and material warranty on Li-Ion batteries (Butterfly series).
2-year manufacturing and material warranty on Li-Ion batteries (Orchid series).
25% off Li-Ion battery replacements for up to three years.
35% discount on applicable fees for prescription changes.
25% discount on restocking fees for 180 days (from the date of invoice) in the event of a change of mind, including refunds/returns for loupes and lights.

ByronCare Premium – $265 per annum.
Duration – Up to 7 years, starting from original purchase invoice date.
Coverage terms and conditions:

Covers all manufacturing defects for loupes and light sources for up to 7 years (excluding Li-Ion batteries).
Covers theft of loupes/lights for up to 7 years (police report required to make a claim).
Covers all accidental damage for loupes and light source for up to 7 years (excluding Li-Ion batteries).
Covers all manufacturing faults and accidental damage for Li-Ion batteries for up to 3 years (does not include end-of-life battery replacement).
Free loaner loupes and/or lights offered if repairs are required (subject to stock, IPD match, and without prescription).
No labour charges for upgrades/changes to loupes for up to 90 days from the invoice date.
35% off Li-Ion battery replacements for up to three years.
No restocking fee, no questions asked refund for loupes/lights within 60 days from the invoice date.
35% discount on applicable restocking fees for the duration of the plan in the event of a change of mind, including refunds/returns for loupes and lights for up to 180 days.
50% discount on applicable fees for prescription changes.
10% discount on all future/online purchases .

General Information:

Plan Downgrade: Downgrading a plan is permissible at any time, effective from the end of the current year.
Refundable Yearly Fees: Yearly fees are eligible for a refund within 14 days from the date of purchase/renewal if no claim has been made.
Non-Refundable Plan Amounts: Plan amounts paid are non-refundable in the case of a change of mind refund.
Plan Upgrade: Upgrading a plan is subject to approval, requiring the submission of an undertaking and dated product photos to ensure the item is in good condition.
Cooling Off Period: Upon upgrading to a higher tier, a 60 days cooling-off period applies to items that do not appear in the lower tier.
Renewal Discretion: Byron Medical reserves the right to decline plan renewal for any reason.
Theft Protection: In the event of theft, a police certificate is required.
Exchanges and Customizations: Price difference between products is still applicable for upgrades, customisations and exchanges.
Extended Warranty Conditions (Byroncare):
Byroncare excludes general wear and tear.
Battery Replacements: Li-Ion battery replacements are conditional upon the return of the old battery. Additional battery purchases are subject to ordinary tier discounts.
For New Customers:
Purchase Window: All plans must be acquired within 30 days of the item purchase date.
Cover commences from Byroncare invoice date or date payment is received for Byroncare, whichever is the latter.

For Existing Customers:
For existing customers, the coverage and expiry of your Extended Warranty terms run from your original Loupes/Lights invoice date, not from the Byroncare invoice date.
Cooling-Off Period for Claims: Existing customers have a 60-day cooling-off period from purchase to making a claim under any ByronCare package, except for prescriptions.
