Refunds and Returns Policy
Thank you for your purchase from Byron Medical. We hope you love your new loupes and/or lights, or any other product you may have purchased from us. In case you have any concern at all, please get in touch with us.
All of our products come with a 2-years warranty on all manufacturing and material defects, apart from the LED batteries that come with 1-year warranty. If you advise us of any concerns or defects within the warranty period, we will act as fast as possible to assess the issue and either send the faulty item back for repair or replace it within a reasonable time frame. We do cover all domestic and international shipping charges if an item is faulty or requires any adjustment under warranty, but please note this is not a part of the warranty or normal cover and we reserve the right to only cover the cost of repair/replacement of faulty items.
Our liability is limited to the cost of the item as paid by you to us. Please satisfy yourself with professional ophthalmologist, ergonomic and/or any other advice before purchasing the product.
All of our loupes are 100% customised to your specifications and in rare cases, further adjustments may be required after you receive the loupes. If that happens to you, please ensure you notify us within 30 days of receipt of your loupes. We will then document and report the case to Admetec and start a troubleshooting process. We understand that this process can be frustrating, but ask for your patience while we make up to two factory adjustments to your loupes, if any adjustment is required. If after two adjustments, you are still not 100% satisfied with your loupes, we offer a full refund.
Alterations, customisations and 'Change of mind' loupes alterations (eg magnification changes, working distance and declination angle changes) are available free of labour charges for 60 days from the invoice date. Materials (ie higher magnification, prescription lenses etc) would be chargeable.
If you wish to return the loupes/lights for a refund or exchange without trying to fix or
adjust them first, or for reasons of personal preference or anything which is not in
our/Admetec’s control, a restocking fee of 10%-70% will apply based on the below table:

4. If adjustments are required or you need to send us any faulty items, we will cover costs for standard postage not including insurance and any extra packaging materials.
